Estos Caminos draws upon the idea of dirt roads forming over time by the passing of many people. The space allows residents to share about their daily travels or any other messages. Over time, the markings fade, layer over and into one another, echoing the layers of footsteps, tires tracks and hoof prints that layer the roads. When the board became completely full, it was transformed by residents into a map of the village.



The signs above the drawing space translate loosely to:

Where are you going?
Where are you coming from?
Many passings have made these paths.
