A  Scenic Scenic
2014

Creation Process:

The original copy of "A Scenic Harvest from the Kingdom of Pain" was played on the television, snippets were re-recorded onto a new VHS tape. Still portions were captured with  the Olympus C3000 and recorded onto the tape via an RCA cable.  The new video piece was then looped onto another VHS tape.

Final Presentation:

The remix was played on the television, which faced the wall to create only a white reflected glow. The Remix was also routed through the RGB projector back onto the wall. The RGB projector was designed to project the image onto a curved surface, therefore projecting onto the wall produced a stretched, out of focus image.

technologies utilized:

  • 1981 RGB Projector
